Global Raptor Impact Network (GRIN) data on raptor observations in Kenya for the period 2013-2021

Latest version published by Strathmore University on Apr 4, 2022 Strathmore University

Data on Raptor observations in Kenya provided by the Global Raptor Impact Network (GRIN) of The Peregrine Fund for publishing by the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF) Biodiversity Information Development (BID) Project BID-AF2020-014-NAC. The Raptor data was collected by multiple individuals (Human Observation) between the period 2013-2021 at observation points monitored via a mobile app. The dataset contains information on individual counts, dates, locations, and behavior of the species. The species observed are identified to species level. The Peregrine Fund provided the dataset and Strathmore University, Centre for Biodiversity Information Development (BID-C) published the dataset on GBIF.

Data Records

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 11,669 records.

This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Downloads

Download the latest version of this resource data as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A) or the resource metadata as EML or RTF:
