Occurrence of Skipper butterflies (Lepidoptera:Hesperiidae) in Invertebrate Zoology Collection at National Museums of Kenya
Latest version published by National Museums of Kenya on Nov 16, 2020
This data is a digitized presentation on the occurrence and abundance of skipper butterflies housed in the insects’ collection, Zoology department at the National Museums of Kenya. This information provides a baseline information on the distribution of skipper butterfly species and can be used for further study on their ecology as well monitoring of population trends in different habitats.
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 9,011 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
